DC165 micro build

The Atto DC165 uses the same layout as the smaller sizes but with room to choose between a 4in1 or arm mounted ESC’s with any flight controller.

By mounting the camera low down the 35mm standoffs still leave room under the 3mm top plate for a small VTX. The antenna is attached via the green zip ties you can see through the micro plate.

Standoffs of at least 35mm are recommended to allow enough clearance for the antenna above the props. In testing we’ve found that this setup looks bad for antenna health but is far more robust than a vertical SMA connector on the top plate.

At 275g this is a lightweight setup for the 2600kv RS2205’s. It’s a lot of fun.
